I have had multiple people ask me why I am going back to Swaziland... Wondering why I go?

For our King and His glory, we will love and rescue His little ones.

"God is God. Because He is God, He is worthy of my trust and obedience. I will find rest nowhere but in His holy will that is unspeakably beyond my largest notions of what he is up to."
                                                                                        -
Elisabeth Elliot

"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world." - James 1:27

Support Update

As we get closer and closer to leave and support is coming in, I am continually reminded of this verse.

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
                                                                               -Philippians 4:6

Please keep me in your prayers as I keep raising support. As of today, I am 1/4th of the way there! I am so thankful for all the support that has been provided (and that will be provided!) God is working! To those who have already donated, I cannot thank you enough. I seriously cannot do this without every one of you!

Only three short months untill we leave!

"‎If human love does not carry a man beyond himself, it is not love. If love is always discreet, always wise, always sensible and calculating, never carried beyond itself, it is not love at all."

                                                                                                 - Oswald Chambers

Here we go!

As most of you who are reading this already know, I started this blog to serve as a newsletter while I am preparing to go back to Swaziland this summer and to have something to write out my thoughts, so here we go!

After two long years (since my previous trip in 2009), Adventures In Missions has a mission trip to Swaziland, and I have been accepted! Like last time, I will be sent out with 15 other high school students (and graduatesJ).The trip will be from June 29th to July 29th.  We will be working with local carepoints, orphanages, hospitals, and hospices to spread God’s love in every way we can. We will also be partnering with local churches to help meet needs within the community.

I will post frequently with updates on support and other things. There is so much to do to prepare for the trip! I ask for your prayers. I am overwhelmed with how much encouragement and support the body of Christ around me has poured out on me. I am so thankful. I also ask that you pray for my teammates, for their fundraising and preparations for this trip.

Updates on support, Swaziland, and pictures are to come soon!

With joy in Christ,

Chandler Robertson
